Job description

What will you be doing?

As a Buyer at Keijsers Interiors, you will have an independent, hands-on role while also taking clear responsibility for further professionalising the procurement function.

The core of your role is operational procurement: ensuring materials, components, and production capacity are available on time and under the right conditions. You will also establish and maintain relationships with engineering and installation companies for external hiring and subcontracting purposes.

You will mainly work from our Amsterdam office and collaborate closely with a small procurement team in Bochnia, Poland, which supports the procurement process.

Through our collaboration with 10Yards, you will occasionally also be involved in the procurement of turnkey projects. This includes sourcing and coordinating contractors, as well as suppliers of loose furniture, upholstery, and lighting.

In addition to the operational side, you will play an important role in further developing and professionalising our procurement organisation. Expanding the international supply chain and improving the structure of our ERP system, Proteus, are key priorities.

You will occasionally travel to suppliers both domestically and internationally for sourcing, relationship management, and quality inspections.
