Responsibly sourced materials

We choose our raw materials with care, paying close attention to origin and environmental impact.

FSC- and PEFC-certified materials
We work with FSC- and/or PEFC-certified wood, sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Guaranteed origin from sustainably managed forests
This certification makes the origin of our material traceable all the way back to the forest it came from, so every piece of wood contributes to preservation rather than deforestation.

Measuring impact by material and by project
As part of our calculations, we map out the shadow costs and Environmental Cost Indicator (ECI) of our materials. This lets us track the ecological impact of each material and each project objectively, and reduce it where it matters most.

Smart use of raw materials

Advanced engineering & software
Before a single panel is cut, our planning software calculates the optimal layout for each one. This means every piece, whether standard or custom, is positioned as efficiently as possible from the outset.

Optimal nesting of panel material
By placing parts tightly against one another instead of cutting them out separately, we make use of every last bit of the panel. This nesting principle is the foundation of our production approach.

Maximum reduction of cutting and sawing waste
The result: minimal offcuts per panel, lower raw material use, and a smaller ecological footprint on every project.

Circular Production

Sustainability doesn't stop for us once production ends. In the flows that emerge after the process as well, we aim for as closed a loop as possible for material and energy.

Closed material and energy loop
Residual streams generated during our production are reused within our own process as much as possible, among other things as a source of energy. This reduces our dependence on external raw materials and energy, and gives residual streams a second life instead of sending them off as waste.

Residual streams collected and processed by suppliers
Beyond our own production, we also work with suppliers to close the loop further. Residual streams are collected, recycled, and put back into the chain. This keeps material in circulation longer and reduces the environmental impact of our process.

Sustainable logistics

We take a deliberately sustainable approach to our logistics as well, from planning all the way to the very last kilometer to the customer.

Efficient transport
We carefully coordinate our shipments so that trips are combined wherever possible and vehicles are loaded as efficiently as possible. This helps us avoid unnecessary trips and keep the impact of our transport as low as possible.

Use of local logistics hubs
For the final stretch of the journey — the last mile — we rely on local logistics hubs. From there, deliveries are organized close to their final destination, significantly reducing the impact of that last leg.
